Do I have client responsibilities under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006?
Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006, a ‘Client’ is any person engaged in trade, business or other undertaking who commissions or procures the carrying out of a construction project for the purpose of such trade, business or undertaking.
Unless you are building or extending your private dwelling for family use only, you will most likely have 'Client' responsibilities under these regulations.
Keenan Lynch Architecture can offer clear advice in relation to your status as a 'Client' under the regulations and the duties associated with this role.
